Yuanxi Li
Hello, I’m Yuanxi Li! I am a first-year PhD student in Sociology at the University of Washington.
As an interdisciplinary researcher, my work focuses on health disparities and the demographic and social processes that shape structural inequalities. My research interests span demography, social networks, and computational social science. Broadly, I draw on quantitative and computational methods to understand health-related behaviors, population health, and social inequalities.
Prior to beginning my PhD, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology (Honors) and Bachelor of Science in Informatics from the University of Washington in June 2026.
In my free time, I enjoy writing poetry, photography, exploring coffee, and skiing. I am also the author of a self-published poetry chapbook, The Sun, The Moon, Rambling, Ranting..
